Richard Heath is a former electric utility Vice President and General Manager at Concord
Electric Company with more that thirty years of business experience including
sales, customer service, labor negotiations, materials management, construction
and senior management.
Heath is a U.S. Army veteran, an alumnus of NHTI, and Southern New Hampshire
University. At NHTI he was a member of the Honor Society, Student Senate President and recipient of the Directors Award for Outstanding Citizenship.
Mr. Heath began his professional career in Exeter. He served his community as chair of the Municipal Budget Committee, was elected to the Exeter Board of Selectmen and served as Board Chair.
Upon transfer to Concord in the mid 1980's Mr. Heath resumed his community service as a member of the Rotary Club of Concord and the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. He led both
organizations as President and Chairman of the Board, respectively. He is currently a Trustee of the Community College System of New Hampshire, Director for the Community Colleges of New
Hampshire Foundation, and Chair of the New Hampshire Board of Fire Control.
Heath was born in Exeter, N.H. and with the exception of military service, has lived his entire life in N.H. He, his wife Cindy and golden retriever "Jazz" reside in Bow.
